Today is my third and final post in my first ever three-post series. I hope you’ve enjoyed the multiple posts and learning about Literary Book Gifts, the owner Melissa, and her products. If you missed my previous posts in this series, you can go back and read some Q&A with Melissa here or read my review of a Literary Book Gifts tote bag here.
In today’s post I’ll be reviewing a woman’s t-shirt. I opted for the Dracula shirt because, you know, October and Halloween! I also like that Melissa offers Dracula and some of the “darker” literary figures and authors. I find that many literary gift companies focus on the “lighter” side of things like children’s classics. Nothing wrong with that at all! But, it is nice to have other options, too.
The t-shirt is comfortable. It’s 100% cotton, soft, and didn’t irritate me at all. The print on the shirt is beautiful. It is clear and durable. It’s held up perfectly through two washes so far. Like the tote bags, the t-shirt is a quality product. No flaking or scraping off. Also, like the tote bags, the shirt looks just as it did on the website. Below is a side-by-side comparison between the shirt pictured online and the shirt I received.
I will say that the t-shirts run small. I typically wear a size medium and received a size large. The large fits me like a medium normally would. It’s comfortable, but if the shirt were to shrink (or I were to gain a couple pounds!) it would be a bit too tight. So if you’re thinking of ordering a shirt for yourself or someone else, I highly recommend ordering a size or two up. There is a size chart on the Literary Book Gifts website to help you out when it comes to determining sizes.
All in all, I’ve been very pleased with the products offered by Literary Book Gifts and Melissa’s customer service. If you don’t yet have the 20% off promo code, you can use KAITSBOOKSHELF20 at checkout.
